What (Who) Is the Quad?

The Quad is a mastermind group of seven successful editors that has been active since 2015. We have seven members: Katharine O’Moore-Klopf, Sarah Grey, Adrienne Montgomerie, Erin Brenner, Amy J. Schneider, Lori Paximadis, and Laura Poole. We became friendly after meeting at conferences and fell into a large group chat.

Over the years, we realized we functioned as a mastermind group. We support each other with daily chats, yearly retreats (some virtual), monthly check-ins and accountability, development time, work sprints, emotional support, and more.
